Galkyd Lite Gel (formerly called Neo Megilp) is a softer gel medium, it does not have the same thickness as Galkyd Gel. Galkyd Lite Gel increases transparency and flow, and imparts a smooth, silky feel. Galkyd Lite Gel has a moderate dry time rate of 3-4 days and remains workable for hours.

Unlike the other Galkyd mediums, Galkyd Lite Gel gives colors a satin gloss rather than a high gloss finish.

Galkyd Lite Gel makes slightly thicker layers which retain their own texture. Galkyd Lite Gel is formulated with Gamsol and is a favorite for transparent glazing techniques.
