Our range of Radiant colors includes warm and cool tints in the red, yellow, and blue hue families. With the addition of Radiant Warm Green, painters now have a warm and cool green to choose from.
And it’s a tough one to mix on your palette, to boot. We’re using heaps of Hansa Yellow to pull Phthalo Green toward our vision for Radiant Green. And without those two colors on your palette, there’s no way to get to the bright intensity of Radiant Green.
Our Radiants work together as a system of accent colors that also enable artists to easily and predictably punch-up the color and intensity in their paintings. Radiants also allow painters to warm-up or cool-down mixtures without darkening them as well as lighten mixtures without losing chroma. Radiants can also neutralize complementary colors into more nuanced mixtures.
